'Michael Jackson The Experience' for iOS. Coming out for iOS platforms by Christmas 2012 is Ubisoft's music-based game Michael Jackson The Experience. Not to be confused with the console-based games by the same name, this version is made specifically for iPad and is most similar to the versions that will be eventually made available for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. MJTE thus far has only three songs confirmed out of what's been described as being "more than a dozen". While there are only three officially know, the songs ('Beat It', 'Smooth Criminal', and 'The Way You Make Me Feel') are solid. While it's not known of the iOS version will come with only these three tunes as standard tracks with any other available for paid download, should that be the case then it's a good enough selection for starters. The game (as shown during Ubisoft San Francisco's "Digital Day" event) looked just short of amazing. The graphics are of extremely high quality and some of the shots looked as if they were taken directly from some of Michael Jackson's music videos themselves. Running at 60 frames-per-second (twice that of the 3DS version), MJTE's animations are smooth and crisp. Jackson purists and die-hards shan't be disappointed by how the game looks nor how Michael appears as on-screen in any of his many outfits. While the game appears to be solely a single-player experience, more competitive players should be happy to know that the game will have online leaderboard support via the iPad's Game Center. Those who swear by Open Feint instead of Game Center will find that MJTE doesn't have any support for it. Pricing structures for the iOS version of MJTE have not (at the time of this article) been decided upon, but any reasonable price should be fine for this title. There are still many unknowns including what songs the rest of the game's soundtrack will be composed of, but there's a good chance that there will be at least something for nearly everybody. For music game and Michael Jackson fans, it looks like the iOS Michael Jackson The Experience is a must-play. http://www.news10.net/entertainment/...The-Experience
The console versions are great. I don't find the point of the portable versions, they are pretty much just Michael Jackson-themed rhythm games. If this is released for iPhone, I will still buy it.
