We neglect any freemium models that in our opinion corrupt the gameplay totally by making it a money race. Lords And Heroes will have a flat subscription fee without any paid items, purchasable currency or character boosts. The concept is a faction-based strategy where 3 factions clash for resources in an alternative medieval world. Battles are real-time 3D with realistic weapons, armor and movements. We have extensively consulted with our local LARP (Live Action Role-Playing) community who kindly provided a whole lot of information about historical medieval fighting. Special thanks to them! Finally we have a soundtrack that we can be proud of! It's recorded live with power metal band "Cherny Kuznets" ("Blacksmith") - who were very excited about the game - and featured by performers from St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. There is a lot of similarity indeed, although we did not intend to clone that game. Also Mount & Blade is not a MMOG.

You are right, Heroes III was one of our main inspirations since we spent months playing it back in 2000s! As for the battle system we were somewhat inspired by good old Golden Axe but we made it 3D.
