    Hello!
I am developing a new 2D 3rd person shooter for iOS. It is in very early stages, and there is still a lot of work left to do.

Here is a video of the current state it is in:

    EDIT: New video:

Any suggestions for anything would help!

Thanks, and have a nice day.

Crouching should be added = should perhaps decrease 50% of damage then.
Add some background, depends on location I guess (jungle, airfield hangars, abandoned city, beach, swamp)
Ground texture should stretched to be only one, rather then have it one after one.
Movement arrows should have option to be transparent with possibility to show perhaps just line around the arrows.

    1. Random platform, background, placement of enemy after each game to make it more challenging and unpredictable.

    2. Crouching is a good idea.

    3. Character upgrade (increase life), weapon upgrade (more damage)

That's it for now, waiting more gameplay video :)

The enemies now have to "spot" you first to attack you, which happens if they see you or if you make a loud noise.

    Any tips to improve AI?

Spotting is a great idea. You could implement a stealth system where enemies go on watch when they spot you but you move out of view...depends on the type of game you're creating.

I also think that environmental cover, or some method becoming temporarily invisible would be great. As it is you can take an incredible amount of damage from enemies (some not even visible) in a short time.

Not sure if any of this matters considering that you've made changes?

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I think I need to make it so the enemies can "unspot" you if they spot you and then don't see you for a while.

    Thanks again! :)

The enemies now move towards you! I also added an LMG and a new texture for the enemy! :)
