There is NO lack of atmosphere here (pun intended) and it is one of my favorite games. Not a whole lot of replayability unfortunately, but still well worth the trip. Quite a few hours of gameplay too. David Tiger Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2009 197 0 0 http://www.tigerstylegames.com #7 David Tiger, Apr 30, 2012 You guys don't miss anything, do you? You go around throwing seeds and watch the 'plants' grow. and sometimes go through some tunnels but thats about it... Can someone who bought this game please verify? I don't wish to regret after wasting $3 for a 'good looking' but boring game. Me, on the other hand, I live for this kind of game. It actually feels like a real adventure. Whereas other games call themselves adventures but are otherwise merely a series of puzzles wrapped in a story, Waking Mars is the real deal. For me, it's a throwback to early PC adventures. You do watch plants grow, you do spend time reading research diaries, and your dude has no weapons (not for me thus far), but it is a very compelling game. If you're looking for space aliens to shoot, save your $3. No one will condemn you for not being interested in this game. If you're looking for sci-fi that focuses on the "sci," this is absolutely the best iOS game to come out this year (in my opinion). drach Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2009 515 0 16 #20 drach, May 2, 2012 Well, I could not resist any longer. Loved Spider, and thus I give this the benefit of any doubt I might have. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
