    • Modern combat online play crash- not with router! Who has a fix?

      I recently bought modern combat because of the online play but now when i click online>search the game CRASHES! I have tried reinstalling, respringing, safe mode, swap mode, and a complete reboot nothing works!

      Anyone else having this problem or a fix?

      My router is fine, I can host games but nobody will join. Is this a bug for the people on iPod touch 2g running 3.0, should I update to 3.1.2?

      I GOT IN IR A GAME AND KICKED EVERYONES ASS! here's how I did it:

      some times when you hit search you see the game name servers for a few seconds before it crashes right? Right when the server names come up hit back right away. Then hit search again. It'll stay at the search screen. Then pick your game :)

      it only worked once though so far

      tried that a bunch of times didn't work

      used to love gameloft games now **** them, they better come out with an update, but gameloft never updates games cause they are faggets now

      Are you running 3.0 firmware on a ipod touch 2g and are you jailbroken

      Yeah, I have the same damn problem..
      I was unsure whether to buy it or not for a long time, but the sudden addition of multiplayer modes was just incredible!
      I bought it immediately, but have later found that the game crashes in this exact place once presented with the list of games...
      Nooooo!!! D:
      All of us here would be greatly appreciative if someone could work this out..
      Can other users get online, or is it just us select few?? :/

      According to another thread I saw yesterday, it may be a problem caused by Jailbreak?
      Mine's certainly Jailbroken... yet it's never interfered with any regular apps before.. :/
      Is everyone who's having this problem's iTouch Jailbroken?

      mines an iPod Touch 2G jailbroken, but i think theres some people with no jailbreak and still having this problem

      Darn, I guess it may be a problem with the game itself then?
      Hopefully Gameloft can get their act together and patch it ASAP...
      I already contacted them about it, but I guess they'll probably be enveloped in floods of emails from people with similar problems >.<
      We'll just have to wait it out for now... :/

      mine isn't crashing but i encounter errors (-2,upnp,and others)
      they just happen randomly
      i tried airplane mode and safe mode but still no luck
