Does anyone know of an RPG with a lot of focus on collecting loot, like Diablo 2 or the more recent Borderlands?
Yeah I would go with dungeon hunter. I prefer the graphics much more. The controls are much better, and I believe it is a longer game, although the update to Underworlds added a lot more content. Also, customization on Dungeon Hunter actually appears on your character. In Underworlds, you have a generic character the entire time. There's also three types of classes in Dungeon Hunter, and if you really want, you can continue training your character in Dungeon Hunter until level 100 I believe. In Underworlds you max at 20. But, if you can, get both. I really liked Underworlds as a starting diablo-like action RPG.
No. It's main problem was that it was too easy. There's plenty of content in the game, but you can blast through it because of the gigantic loot drops (including enough health potions to solve the health crisis in the US).
Yeah, it would've been amazing if they included randomly generated dungeons so you can keep on coming back for better and better loot. Or even an expansion. Unfortunately, it's unlikely for that to happen.
I've got Zenonia and Underworld. Zenonia is more fun and appealing to me. I like the art style better too.
there are no any really good rpgs for iphone, only some games without any challenge and sense like Dungeon Hunter or some console types of games, which also can not be compared with good western rpg.
im pretty sure in dungeon hunter your chars max out at 50, i've got one at 50 with 5,000/5,000exp, and he's not going to 51.
Zenonia, DH, and Underworlds are all excellent, but different. Each has a ton of loot. (For pure loot goodness, I'd go with DH, because of the graphics, the sheer amount of it, and the ease of the character equipping menus.) DH = amazing graphics/sound, but too easy Zenonia = huge number of play hours, but too much grinding for levels Underworlds = great loot and expansion content, but less-polished graphics Just get all three, and then beat them before Chronicles of Inotia: Wanderer comes out.
