    Hey guys,
Is it possible to get an app's iTunes link before it is released? I'm pretty sure it's possible to do something like:

    http://itunes.com/link/my+app

Where My App is the name of your app.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Thanks.

Oops. I messed up there. I thought he used linktoapp here:eek:

So that wont work. Instead you`ll need to use this instead

    http://linktoapp.com/my+app

Or if want to just post in these forums only then you can use the app tag like fearless said.

    Posting this..
    [app]my app[/app]

    will result in this
    [app]my app[/app]

Thanks. So if my game is called "My Game", I can link it by:

    http://linktoapp.com/my+game

    ?

I read on the site before that spaces are replaced by plus signs, right?

I want to include a link in my app.

    Thanks.

Ahh. Now I get it. This way you`ll be able to put links to your other apps which havent even released yet, inside your previous app. So that you wont need to wait for the next update just to add these links. Smarty Boy:D

Another thing you can do is create a webpage with links to all your apps, and put the link to that page in your previous apps. I`ve seen quite a few apps which use this. But having a direct link is even better:D

Hmm, when the app has a + in the url, Twitter replaces it as a space when I post the message from the api. Anyone has a solution? I heard getting your app ID and doing an iTunes link...

EDIT: Never mind, I solved it by placing the url as a tinyurl.
