I won't be getting my ipod touch until tomorrow, but I've already download 128 apps!

Also, how many apps can I fit on my ipod at a time? Or is there no limit? Thanks.

Edit: How many apps do you have?

Not normal at all..lol..the only limit is the GB of your device and the 12 pages [which can be circumvented if needed]

    Its the 32Gb version.

12 pages is the limit? So that's 12x16=192 apps?

How do you get around this?

You can have as many apps as your gb allows but only the ones on the pages will ge visible. The rest you can search for and they will be there. You just wont see the icon on the pages once they are filled.

It's 11 pages not 12 so 176 visible apps, including stock ones.

WTF man that's not normal at all.

That's a lot of apps! How many of those do you think you paid for (i.e. not free downloads nor used a promo code for)?

90% of of my apps are free/lite versions, with most of the remaining apps coming from promo codes on this site (YAY promo codes!).

But you'll find after time some apps are just crap or you complete them hundreds of time over and will delete them.
And I don't appreciate you taking promo codes without even having an iPod yet!

remember, you will probably be deleted a lot fo those apps after you play them, as i doubt you will plan on playing all 128 every day,

if so you will have got very lucky.

the fact is even if you have been collecting apps since the store open, to have 176 app filling up your ipod with all games that you love and play all the time seems impossible to me.

While I know the trick to get extra pages, using the new iTunes 9 application arrangement thing will break this everytime so I'm just content with the 11 visible pages and FIFTEEN invisible ones at the moment. :p

Another way is to keep all 11 pages full of what you want to see (keeping the stock apps visible, of course)... then take a picture of your screens 12-XX in iTunes (using your iPhone camera or another camera if needed) and you'll have a reminder of what apps you have "hidden".

More app pages mean less available memory btw. There are no real reports of it being a problem but don't act surprised if an app crashes.
