I noticed this morning that for whatever reason I was unable to login to the App Store this morning. I checked with a few people in my office and they noticed the same thing. Is the store down? Has anyone here noticed this same issue?
Yeah, having issues with downloading in the US store (even apps I've already bought)... same with the CA store, and can't sign in to my NZ account. I'm sure it'll get fixed soon enough. =oP Tonight/tomorrow should be big(er than the rest of the week) sales days, so I imagine they'd want everything running as smoothly as possible by then (not that I am in any position to know such information... just type thinking).
Good to know it's not my device(s) then. Was just trying to purchase a couple games and couldn't connect. Maybe later....
I just read an article on the macrumors site which explained that the App Store is indeed down in many regions.
Down for me. Never upgraded to 8.22 thought that was my problem. It's not. It's the store. No lunch room games for me ###########
the problem seems bigger than we know, my apple developer account is not accessible as well... it's not only the iTunes but I think the Apple system is hacked or something else more or less same level of damage. hope that Apple will bring everything back soon.
I just watched a documentary about hacking etc on Netflix yesterday and that was the first thing I thought when I read that all apple services are down iBooks ect are all affected from what I read. Hope it's not something like users data has been compromised.

It is. It's down for everyone with no exceptions. You can see the App Store but you can't make purchases or swap between other countries. You're not magically immune to server downtime
