I had just completed the 10 hour Symphony of the Origin and I found that an RPG of that length is perfect for me. Which other RPGs can be completed in 10 hours or less?
Guardian Saga was only ~3 hours for me, if you like old school RPG. Call of Cthulhu took me maybe ~11-12 hours with some grinding. Pretty fun, but a lot of dungeons with mazes that I keep getting lost in. I'm finding the older I get, the less I want to play 10+ hour games, especially RPG and arpg/krpg.
Guardian Saga Many of the other Kemco RPGs have similar lengths I haven't compete RPG Quest Minimae or Dragon Fantasy but those might be other candidates. QuestLord is probably about 16 hours.
Definitely Guardian Saga. Individual chapters in Dragon Fantasy are short and independent from each other. Eternal Legacy is under 10 hours, although I'm not really a fan of that game. Questlord might slide under 10 hours, but probably not for most people. Nameless: The Hackers is about 10 hours.
Reinstalling Guardian Saga. I did not know it was that short... Which of the other Kemco games are short? I am 9 hours into Alphadia 2 and it shows no signs of having really started in terms of plot.
A lot of roguelikes are good for quicker play but can scratch the RPG itch with their emphasis on leveling up and world exploration - consider Cavern, Dungeon Plunder, The Dungeon, and/or Legends of Yore.
always recommend destinia--best game of gamevil no grind at all enjoy the gameplay and story and finish the game within 10 hours years after, heavy IAP changed the gamevil into a trash
I looked at the App Store and there are two versions of Destinia available. One paid, one free, both offering IAP currency purchases. So does the paid one not need IAP currency buys or does it just start you off with some currency since it is paid?
RPG Quest: Minimæ is about as old as the AppStore itself, and plays like a simplified Dragon Quest (1). It certainly meets your qualifications. The game can be beaten in under five hours; subsequent playthroughs dramatically less as the time and challenge is in the exploration and not the grind.
it's like about 2 years ago I finished the game during a night. I forget the difference between the two version, or I may never know. and even if I can remenber clearly they may already updated the both of two into iap trash or may not. so I assume it's no hurt to try the free one, because they're probably the same.
