    Hi there,
I am just wondering, as one developer to another. If I am developing a game, I have noticed that blogs, documenting the progress can be an intriguing way for people of the public to gain interest, comment on and suggest ideas, even create a buzz.

So, I am wondering, are these forums good for creating such a thread. If not, any sites in particular? Word Press etc. Does anyone have any stories of what they did to gain some hype as they were building the their game?

    Blogging... where?

    Hey JohnnyKnox,

We haven't started our marketing push or even announced our website to anyone, so I don't have any numbers to back it up... but, I guess it would depend on the audience your game is intended for.

I've got a blog started and it's connected to our company site - this seems to be where most developer blogs are in my experience.
