You swipe to move the character around in "Action Mode", and there's a button on the lower right corner to switch between "Action Mode" and "Puzzle Mode" at any time - in "Puzzle Mode", the level is divided into 9 segments which can be dragged around and arranged like the face of a Rubik's Cube.
