Why do most FPS for iPhone seem to be Sci-Fi? I really want something like Nightfire or more 'realistic'. (as in on our planet in this era.) Anything coming?
Modern Combat: Sandstorm? SciFi FPSes are popular for a few reasons. Not the least of which is that shiny surfaces are easier to render than dirt and grass. Plus, artists have a free hand to develop all sorts of fantastic creatures. Things get a bit more boring when every bad guy has a piece of cloth over/around his head and is constantly shooting you with an AK-47. (Awful, awful weapon. The only way you could hit the broad side of a barn is if you weren't aiming for it.)
