Traffic Rush 2 is the sequel to the beloved smash hit from the early days of the App Store, a game that propelled into Apple's prestigious "All-Time Top Paid iPhone Apps" and later "App Store Rewind" in 2011. Now presented in charming 3D VOXELS and supercharged with truckloads of unlockable vehicles. > Unlock Monster trucks, Limos, Fire trucks, Motorcycles, Police cars, Old agent cars, etc. > Challenge your friends with Game Center support > Watch whacky crash scenes ACHIEVEMENTS: Promoted "Best New Game" by Apple #1 Hot Game at Touch Arcade, Nov 2015 #1 Downloaded Game, App Store US, early Dec 2015 "App of the week", Spiegel.DE Information Seller:Donut Games Genre:Action, Strategy Release:Nov 21, 2015 Updated:Dec 16, 2015 Version:1.01 Size:23.9 MB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating: (8) Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal Ok, so it has been quite some years now since we released the original Traffic Rush in 2009. Still being one of our most beloved and played apps, we couldn't just sit by and NOT give our fans a sequel. So here it is, this time in 3D voxel gfx and with many of the features our fans have requested throughout the years, such as unlockable vehicles and multiple levels/scenes. The game uses the freemium pricing model, i.e. free to download with optional IAPs. Almost all content can be unlocked without paying, and there's no IAP that affects your score (i.e. you can't buy yourself a high score), but IAPs will help you unlock content quicker. It would be really fun to hear from fans of the original, what you think about the sequel. And of course, what you new gamers think as well... Hope you'll enjoy! When I log onto the developer console, Traffic Rush 2 is STILL not listed as a released title. :O However, some ppl have obviously been able to download it. Hope Apple fixes this soon. I bet we're not the only developer affected. Anyway, thanks for the early feedback from everyone who's been able to download it so far! Feel free to share your impressions. Donut usually has that hand drawn art style that I love so much. The voxel graphics are really good tho. It's definitely worth a download......as all of Donut Games are. smes3817 Well-Known Member Oct 15, 2009 1,120 8 38 Massachusetts, USA #16 smes3817, Nov 23, 2015 Oh hell yes! It's the only Donut Games app that never got the big update. Thanks, keep up the great work. ## LordShad0wz Well-Known Member Nov 19, 2014 4,286 1 38 #19 LordShad0wz, Nov 23, 2015 I've never heard of this developer. I'm glad to have seen this. I actually like this game. So far I purchased one car. I would purchase a coin doubler if that IAP were to be added. Nicely done Devs. I really appreciate the opt in only ads. I love the voxel graphics too. Billy DonutGames Well-Known Member Patreon Indie Jul 12, 2009 558 13 18 Indie Game Developer http://www.donutgames.com #20 DonutGames, Nov 23, 2015 You're right. The reason is Alice was built with our old game engine that was originally developed for PC and Mac games, but was given a quick & dirty port to iPhone in the early days of the App Store. When we later built our real Donut Games engine (that we still use today), Alice was left behind... poor Alice! We did start migrating the game to our new engine many years ago, but bumped into too many obstacles that required big rewrites, so we decided to just leave it there. So I think we have like a 50-75% migrated version just laying around and collecting dust in an old source repository. :O (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
