Well I'm looking for some games and I have some ideas in particular of what I'm searching for. - Does anybody know of any games similar to Doom II RPG and Wolfenstein RPG? - Also, are there any new RTS games or good turn-based strategy games such as fire emblem/ advanced wars?
1st question: Doomsday and there was another one but I can't remember. 2nd question: Final Fantasy Tactics is an immersive TBS but has a hefty price tag. Starfront: Collision is a good RTS My info is coming off the top of my head so someone correct me if I'm giving wrong advice here. Haha. And also, theres a thread specifically for these questions. Just so ya know.
thanks, yeah I got starfront, that's a good one. Oh and as for tactics, I asked my friend about that and he says it isn't as good as fire emblem. hmmm. Have you heard of battle for wesnoth, Is that any good? Oh i just looked up doomsday, it looks more like doom than doom RPG (which is a turn based RPG)

Oh I thought you were just talking about the classic Doom. Nope, I haven't tried Battle for Wesnoth but I have read some good things about it here. Suggest posting this in the Mass What Should I Get? Thread. There's usually some good answers in there. EDIT: nvm, undeadcow saves the day!
I still think Red Conquest is the best RTS on the iOS, hands down. Land Air Sea Warfare takes second followed by Starfront in third.
Fire Emblem and Advance Wars are two very different kinds of games. If you're looking for something more like FE (in other words, more tactical), there are several choices in the App Store besides FFT: Shining Force (a faithful port of the Genesis SRPG) War of Eustrath (a much-updated port of a PC Super Robot Wars-inspired SRPG) The Pantheon Cycle (another SRPG) Tactical Soldier: Undead Rising (a mash up of X-Com and Resident Evil) Highborn (a well polished but more casual take on Fire Emblem) Hunters (another X-Com inspired title) World to Conquer (a much more limited but still interesting variation on FFT) Rebirth of Fortune (ditto) Tactical Warrior (ditto) Tactical Soldier and War of Eustrath are two of my favorite games on iOS.
If you dig Doom and Wolfenstein you've absolutely gotta check out Rage which is made by the same devs (id Software). While not exactly a RPG it is definitively my favorite shooter at the moment.
