No, they are keeping it going as long as there are developers willing to participate. At least thats what they said.
Yeah, it should go on for a while I think. Although I have saw the site down a few differet times in the past week or two. As much money as they are getting paid, you would think they would have upgraded there server by now?
Battle Bears promo is over, it's now a tetris style game called 'Compression'. The site has been working fine for me all week, just have to refresh if it doesn't load up properly. From what I can see, it seems to be a new idea, as their 'catalogue' only goes back to mid/early january. Hopefully It'll go on for a long while yet. It's good advertising for the developers. I've already downloaded 2 other games that I missed when they were free after seeing them in the back catalogue.
It's there server, which is kind of weird since they make up to 1200 dollars a day for a game, so they should buy a better server, its just that so many people go there its overloading it. Sometimes I go there and the pics don't load, or the page doesn't load at all because it can't have more than maybe a couple hundred visitors at a time....
