Yeah definitely too early. Many quality games coming out in next couple of weeks... + I don't like the GOTY selection of Tiny Tower and the runner-ups...
+1 There are still good games coming out in December, not to mention there were already better games earlier this year. It really doesn't make much sense to pick a GOTY before the final game of 2011 has been released.
They're actually not horrible choices. Apple also lists 5 other honorable mentions on the 2011 Rewind Page: IB2, iBlast Moki 2, MC3, Scribblenauts Remix, and Jetpack Joyride. Those are some excellent picks. The top 93 best-selling apps of 2011 list is pretty interesting as well. I can't believe some of those games were downloaded so many times they'd make it on there.
