Name That Tune! coming to the iPhone OS 3.0

Releases within days after OS 3.0 is released.

Utilizes your own iPod library for the game. You'll get more wrong answers than you may think! Rediscover your music.

100% free. Look for it in the Music category.

I think more similar to that music quiz on iPods.

Finally, wasn't really wanting this, but something that should've been on there when the App Store first opened. The game on my iPod was pretty fun, for free, this should be a great addition.

If done right this could totally be fun. Whenever I put iTunes on shuffle I have to CONSTANTLY look to see who's playing. It's always a fun guessing game :D

Oh cool, I use to love that game on my Nano. I have 800 songs so I'm always reminded of songs that I want to listen to, but forgot I had :p

This is for the iPod Touch as well.

And there will be a few major updates out for it that add some cool features within a week of launch. Just tell me what you want to see in the reviews and I will do my best to add it (if it's programmatically possible... the new MediaPlayer API in OS 3.0 for the iPod section of the device is pretty limited).

The game is now OUT. It's called "Name That Tune!"

First of all, it's FREE. There are many other games called "Music Quiz" and "Music IQ", etc out on the store already but they are NOT free. Do not buy them. All of the features in those games will be in Name That Tune!

Secondly, it's the first version. If there are ANY features you'd like to eventually see, please add a review so I can include those. I'll be putting out new updates with new features once every two weeks. The next update will have MANY new features (read the app description for details).

Again, don't buy any music quiz game, get Name That Tune! It's FREE!

Find it in the Music (Free) category: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=319839965&mt=8

one problem: if you double tap the home button, it will show which song you are playing (but it takes the fun out of it)

There is nothing I can do about that unfortunately. Apple does not allow me control of that part of the device. You're just going to have to make sure you don't cheat. :)
