The top 3 review site(TheiPhoneAppReview) recommand app - Voice Secretary Do you ever wish you could leave yourself personalized and convenient notes on your iPhone? Better yet, wouldn’t it be great if these notes could talk to you directly, in your own voice? Apparently, your desires aren’t your own, as the developer G-Power has taken it upon themselves to create Voice Secretary an app that’s one of the single coolest ways to leave yourself notes and reminders that we’ve ever seen. It’s not quite the voice recorder we expected, but then again, it wasn’t exactly meant to be. Either way, you can jump on down below the break to view our whole thought on the matter, starting with: Concept and Functionality The basic concept behind Voice Secretary is fairly easy to understand. Essentially, the app allows you to record quick notes with only a single touch of a button. For instance, let’s say you want to remind yourself to get the kids every day at four o’clock. You simply open Voice Secretary, hit record, and then say, “Go get the kids, you Bum!” Or, you know, whatever else you’d like to say. Then, you set an alarm for the app to ring back at you ever day at exactly four o’clock. Voice Secretary will then replay your message every day at the allotted time. You can also set reminders for as little as five minutes away, or as much as a solid week into the future. It’s quick, painless, and for the most part, pretty impressive. You can also add text notes to these verbal reminders, should you want a little more description to go alongside the reminder. All of this can even be backed up via WiFi or DropBox, if you’d like to keep a stored copy somewhere else to guarantee your data’s safety. All in all, it’s a unique concept that relies on your life style to make it effective. Design and Layout Voice Secretary for iPhone Our only real complaints with Voice Secretary stem largely from the app’s design. We liked the simplicity of the layout well enough—especially the central recording hub which works like a charm. However, we did find a lot of the features overwhelming at first, even with the ample introductory instructions. We feel like the app could be streamlined somewhat, especially in terms of language. The app is obviously not an English as primary language app, and a run through with a native speaker would easily help to clear things up. Overall Value Still, it’s somewhat hard to knock an app that comes with such a great price. For only two dollars the joy and pleasure that Voice Secretary brings can be yours, which strikes us as a bargain, even with our complaints included. If you’ve been looking for just such an app, and haven’t yet found a solution, wait no longer, Soldier: Voice Secretary will please in spades. Voice Secretary requires iOS 4.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
