MidianGTX Well-Known Member Jun 16, 2009 3,738 10 38 #8 MidianGTX, Jun 9, 2011 I'm pleasantly surprised. I've noticed people comparing this to Canabalt and it's obviously heavily inspired by it in terms of the graphics, but it's practically just as fun in its own way. I like the addition of the challenges, they give me something to do as well as going for the high score which always makes it a little more exciting. The only bad point is the same as Canabalt... I'd like to see more variation. New obstacles to avoid, maybe somehow a change in scenery... and I'd like to see some more animation on the falling man too, it'd look cool if he turned slightly left and right as he moved in that direction. I really like the "YEAH!!" graphic too, it'd be nice to add different versions of that with new text and images. Definitely a fun game though, I'm glad I got it. I didn't have any falling games before this so it's a nice change of direction for me antony.thai Well-Known Member Dec 1, 2009 2,084 13 38 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam #9 antony.thai, Jun 10, 2011 Thank you a lot for your note, it's really helpful for us for our update. It does the core gameplay very well, which is often the thing that can be off in simple games like this. The graphics have that nice canabalt feel, and while simple, it allows the game to run very smoothly. I think variation is once again the key. I don't ever want to see bright colors (if colors at all), but I think a different building (maybe try special location like a pyramid, eiffel tower but all still black and white). Besides that the game is really solid and just needs some momentum. I'd be wary of too many new obstacles that might ruin the feel, but a few would not hurt. Good luck with it. antony.thai Well-Known Member Dec 1, 2009 2,084 13 38 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam #11 antony.thai, Jun 10, 2011 We really do think so, really great thanks for your comment, I hope that our update won't disappointing you. It'd be twice as good if there was a 0.5cm dead zone at the bottom where you could slide your finger to steer instead of tapping - you could put a score bar there or something and move the character position up slightly to compensate. (Slide control actually works well now, but your finger obscures stuff as it comes up.) antony.thai Well-Known Member Dec 1, 2009 2,084 13 38 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam #15 antony.thai, Jun 10, 2011 The only thing that we fear is that the slide control may be not really well suite for this game which demand a superb fast react, but we will be adding an option onto control, I think it will be definitely help. Herosoft Ltd Well-Known Member Nov 23, 2010 155 0 0 #16 Herosoft Ltd, Jun 10, 2011 I was very surprised how well it worked, but it really does give you fast movement. As long as the screen was altered so you weren't losing visibility it'd be a great option. We've featured the game in FAH anyway, as it's super-addictive. I can't figure out how Fever Mode works for Objective 13, though. Is it when he's going "YEAH!"? Because I can't see any way to keep that going, as it ends if you move. antony.thai Well-Known Member Dec 1, 2009 2,084 13 38 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam #17 antony.thai, Jun 11, 2011 During the cutscene with "Yeah!", you're in Fever mode (which has double score counting), to enter this mode you will need to hit a number of clothes line to slow you down enough, and please note that you will end this mode if you move left or right.
