Are there any good games on the App Store with gothic, Tim Burton-esque art direction?

    Yes!

    Oddy Smog.
    Soul
    Into The Twilight (kinda?)
    Red Rage
    Trundle

Can't think of many more, but I'd say start off with the top 2 anyway. Hope that has given you a good starter.

Thanks very much sammysin. Soul is brilliant, just very difficult, and Trundle is great fun too. I'm thinking about purchasing Oddy Smog, but I wasn't a big fan of Doodle Jump, and apart from the art style, Oddy Smog seems to be in a similar vein.

Does anyone know of any more?

Not a problem my friend. Soul is extremely hard I agree. Regarding Oddy, it's not like Doodle Jump control wise. Believe me, it's a much more fair and skill based game. ;)

No I am not :D I just really like Tim Burton's art direction.

    - also, none of those games you've mentioned have much of a Tim Burton/gothic art style lol

Plushed has a Tim Burton-esque quality to it what with the eye-ball trees etc. Also GameLab's forthcoming Doodle Gore looks like something straight out of one of Burton's sketchbooks. Lastly, Hanged features some nice stop motion animation. Hope that helps :)

YES! You beat me to it. I was thinking about Plushed. It fits what you are after perfectly.

I really liked the art direction in Plushed, but I was a little disappointed with the gameplay.
The short trailer for Doodle Gore definitely looks like it's a game to watch!
    Thanks :)
