I spent longer completing 4-2 than all of world 3 combined. Wow. Update: I think 4-8 might be the hardest level I've seen in a platformer since the NES era. Completing it is bad enough, but I still have no idea at all how to get all the stars. Is there a trick to this that I'm missing? Edit: Oh, the down arrow drops you through the cart. Duh.

Is there a way to bounce off the giant zombie hands? There seems to be a few blue stars that are only reachable that way... Unless I'm meant to be luring bats...? And I'm still stuck on the cart level... Almost beat it yesterday. Wonderful game!
Also stuck on 4-8. Well. There's one section I can't seem to figure out, after the second blue star, there's a bat, then a right to left cart, then a left to right cart. As soon as that left to right cart starts there's a massive rock to jump. Whatever I do I can't seem to make it over that rock? Am I just crap?
Hey cobriendubs, great to hear that you like the game! The massive rock indeed needs "only a well-timed jump". However, there is one "trick" to the cart levels, that some people dont get. When you solely press the jump button while on the cart (without pressing one of the direction buttons) then the caracter will always stay "on line" with the cart. No need to press the direction that you want to jump in. Just give it a try. Regarding the zombie-hands: Yes, there IS a way to bounce off from them. Don't want to spoil it for you. Just tell me if you want to know more, then I will tell you how to do it.

Finally figured out the strategy for the level four boss. Love this game. Edit: And onto level 5. And it's brilliant.
Uh, that's a tough one... If I remember properly, then you need to kill the snail on the left, then kick the shell to the right and then - if you are quick enough - you can jump off the shell to reach the higher ground and the baloon.
So... going through some of my favorite older games on my 6S, and wound up installing this one last night. I almost forgot how much friggin fun this game is. Such a solid platformer. And if anyone's wondering, the game runs great on a 6S w/ iOS 9.3 (and on my iPhone 5 with iOS 7)
Totally forgot about this one! Still got it tucked away in my iPad. Had a quick go and reminded me just how good it is. Music is fantastic, controls are tight and love the achievement based gameplay. Does it work with any kind of controller?
