I just wish they did another Dead Space iOS tie-in with Firemonkeys and the release of DS3. In all likelihood if they're making a "high tech" mobile game it's probably going to be some type of actioner. Problem is, EA just doesn't have the experience that Gameloft has with shooters. It might have the BF name attached to it, but let's be honest: we all know that big name online shooters begin and end with Gameloft. And this is without EA's history of ruining good brands.
Well I liked PvZ 2 so who knows... But I'm pretty sure that firemonkeys is only gonna be pumping out Real Racing content (and sequels) until they die now that EA has seen that they could make a lot of money with the franchise.
I haven't played PvZ 2, yet, but from what I heard that's the fortunate exception to the rule. It's just that whenever I think mobile Battlefield I think BF: Aftershock or whatever that sad excuse for a game was.
I really hope it's an true battlefield with large scaled maps! Add mfi controller and it's ooooooooon!!

Guys, remember what we're talking about. Activision recently released a serious (but without MP ) CoD game for iOS that wasn't just a zombie game but an original single player campaign with innovative gameplay (at least for the franchise). EA won't waste their resources on a bland BF game just to get beaten by their rival, just remember what happened with the last FTP BF game that was released for iOS. I'm quite positive that we will see something like CoD:ST.
Yes, and isn't BF haled as the much more Strategic of the two? Why would they let a CoD game get more strategic then theirs....
I thought Aftershock, they would make a proper Battlefield 3 iOS game...seems it's been renamed and made shinier now
It would be good F2P like their FIFA 14 and you can only unlock it via IAP in order to play it i agree
24 players? MC4 can manage 12. You're asking for a lot, even there. iDevices have extremely limited RAM, so big maps are out, RAM is an issue for destruction in multiplayer, and air and land combat would take a lot of processing power even the iPhone 5S would have trouble with.
