But I do have a hard time with the 3-4x price difference between retina builds and iPad builds. It's not the price per se (the game might be worth alot more what do I know). Oh well I've put it on my AppZapp list for now! caanerud Well-Known Member Mar 28, 2011 998 0 0 #9 caanerud, Nov 29, 2011 I'd say the iPad version is worth the $3. If you play it in 2x it's just going to bother you that it doesn't look as good as it could. If you're a graphics whore, that is. Having seen both, it doesn't look bad at all in 2x, but it looks oh so nice in retina / HD. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #10 awp69, Nov 29, 2011 Picked it up. I mean that, sound music and visuals come together with exceptionally fluid controls and realistic underwater physics. As far a content, 5-worlds with 10 levels in each. Star ratings based on Secret Areas found, friends rescued and coins collected. 1-4 stars. Add a fun and engaging "battle" mechanic and huge "boss battles" and you have hours of gameplay. Game Center leaderboards and Achievements (in-game also). I have probably 50-minutes in the game and am on Level 5 of World 1. Glowfish is about joyful and magical exploration, you will want to slow down and soak up the experience (no pun intended). It's just magical in every way. Seriously folks grab Glowfish. It's really one of the most incredible plays I've ever had on iOS (and I game like hell). Ghouls'R'us Well-Known Member Jun 9, 2011 555 0 16 #16 Ghouls'R'us, Nov 29, 2011 Whoops. One of the best games and visuals in iOS App Store. Let alone the perfect ambient music and effect sounds (put your good headphones on). Runs smooth and stable on iPad 2. Don't miss the sale. iPad owners can try the lite version for free (don't bother) and buy the full as soon as possible. Ganz großes Kino! tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,067 44 48 #20 tops2, Nov 29, 2011 Lol..yeah, this is one game I feel passionately about and love. As I mentioned a bunch of times, yeah, each time I play, I end up just listening to the music and just checking out all the background/environment since they seem to be "alive". I've just passed lev 8 last night and the challenge is just right. It has a generous checkpoint, so if you do die, you won't lose much progress. It seems like the game can get more challenging, requiring you to think how to pass certain stages in a level. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
