Personally, I'm happy to support the dev for less than I would've paid for this on Steam. I was just about to press the buy button there when this showed up on iOS. I always figured it would make fantastic use of the iPad screen, and it definitely does (especially now that they've fixed the crashing issues). It's not an introductory sale for people who bought the game for $3.99 three days ago! It's not. Anyways, this is the part where I pull out "The Book of Gabrien" and advise people not to buy this right now, because it'll probably be a dollar the day after it returns to $3.99. oooooomonkey Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2011 6,307 0 0 Forge World #8 oooooomonkey, Sep 22, 2013 I agree while its a cool game it's just not a very cool move by the dev, you should do a day one sale for the early adopters if your going to do a sale so soon, because this way your just annoying the people who are fans and buy the game early. And I'd agree with metal too, a sale so soon always smells of going free soon after so I'd avoid even buying it at sale price and just wait for the soon to be price of free. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #9 awp69, Sep 22, 2013 This is getting out of control, but calling a "launch sale" is really an incredibly low blow. mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #10 mr_bez, Sep 22, 2013 Last edited: Sep 22, 2013 Is this sale actually live yet? I take it sales for this just completely sucked!?!? Anyway - since I bought this on Steam a couple months back, I didn't pick up the iOS version... but at a couple bucks, I might snag it just so I can have it in my pocket. It's a fantastic physics puzzler... one that I felt completely fine paying $10 for... so even if I had bought it on launch day for $4, I'd feel fine about the price drop. It's crazy that you can have this game for $2 friggin bucks. It's one of the best physics games I've ever played. Hope to see more from these devs. =oD Bronxsta Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2012 4,698 6 38 http://indiegameenthusiast.blogspot.com/ #12 Bronxsta, Sep 22, 2013 Yeah I got it during the Summer Sale, but since you're a PC gamer too, you probably know about the dreaded backlog and I haven't been able to play much of the PC version. I've gotten further in the IOS version than on PC. Feel for you guys. But with IW, could sense it cause of the freemium based structure. This game, got the same feeling cause of the odd pricepoint of $3.99, if it had released at a more traditional $2.99 probably would have bought it. Just the odd price seemed to spell a half off or buck sale soon. But now as you all say, should others wait for a 99 cent sale or free? Who knows.
