Just wondering because I have about 50 games (half paid, half free) for my iPhone 4. How many games do you have on your device.
Probly 100+. I have a 32gb and have it stocked up with over 300 apps, so I'm sure well over a 100 are games
I just counted especially for you. 213 games currently on my device, mostly paid but some obtained through free promotions and a couple of freemium games. I only keep the good stuff though, I think iTunes reports my app downloads at around 2000.
202 I always try to keep it around 200 (or less). I delete everything I finish as soon as I can, and delete any games I found boring in the slightest. Only 400 on my iTunes account since I delete everything I'm not certain I'll want to replay again in the future. I always try to keep it around 400 (or less). Apps can be redownloaded anytime so I don't want to clutter my library. I have a 32 GB 4th gen. I use a 6th gen. nano for music and also have an iPad 2.
Whoa, didn't realise i was totally in the minority- i never have more than one folder of games on my ipod touch (8gig, however even then i still have about 600MB free), and currently there's only 10 games on there. I think i had reached saturation point, buying every single game that i though looked interesting, but then not having enough time to play them all, so i've refined it down to a select few that i can play in short bursts. Currently i only have: SFIV Volt Orbital Groove Coaster King of Fighters-i Aftermath Lumines Pac Man Championship Edition DoDonPachi The Secret of Chateau de Moreau and Warpgate.
The only apps I keep on iTunes are exactly the same ones I have on my iPod. Like you said, we can re-download at any time, so I can't stand the idea of wasting HDD space on something I'm not even using.
I counted 92 games on my 32 GB iPhone 4. I used to have quite a lot more, but I recently deleted a load to clear more space.
32 GB iPhone4 with 668 apps, almost all of which are games. I do my very best to keep my iTunes library pruned to match what is on the device, and backup most of my IPA files to an external drive (including separate versions for some apps like iDOS.)
Actually, I had like few months ago around 200-300 games (half paid, half freemium) on my iPad. However, I don't like to have such a disorder on my devices, so I deleted most of these which didn't caught my attention for longer than 5 minutes. Now I have around 80-100 (only best ones in my opinion). I do also keep finished games... I just can't remove such great titles... 64 gb so its fine ;PP
I have about 150 on my iPod. I see that a lot of you have a ton of them on your devices. How you do organize them?
Well I have about 59 games but only 8 games in my device (32 gb) that I play more often. All those 59 games are paid (instabuy games), I don't do free nor freemium games. Currently on my iPhone: The Bard's Tale FIFA 12 NBA Jam Coast Defence Anomaly Warzone Earth SF4 Volt MC3 Nova2 Note: NBA Jam has been updated with GC, yay
Not sure how many exactly are on my iPad, but out 64gb, 8gb is music, 2gb free space, the rest is games
Like Dusthound, I was purchasing way too many games and not playing them. So I've culled down to two folders of games, the first contains endless / highscore games such as tiny wings, pix'n'love, mamc, fargoal and fruit ninja. These stay relatively unchanged. The second folder has games with a finite number of stages or a definite end, such as helsing's fire, pizza boy, cut the rope. As games are completed in this folder they are deleted an a new one put in its place. By limiting the number of games that i have installed at any one time, i find i actually complete games and achievements. Sometimes, gaming is hard work
After getting rid of a bunch of stuff I am now down to a more manageable 413 on my 64 Gb iPad.... That leaves me lots of room for movies and music...
I have 240 on mine and I organize them by genre. That way I just go to the folder that has the game type I'm in the mood for and go from there.
That's how I do it too. The only problem is that there are a lot of games that could go into different genres, so it's kinda hard for me to find games sometimes. Plus, I have a few genres with more games than fit into a single folder.
I have 154, also separated by categories. I had a lot more but with all the huge file size games lately, I have had to take a lot off. I have a 4S 64GB.
