I finished The Pit of Hell...so now what? I have the key from the dragon but don't know what it opens. I go back towards the house with my "cousen" and the Mage Council Leader is still out there, and none of my attacks do anything to him. Please help!! Thanks!
What attacks are you using? He has strong magic resistance but I don't think he's immune to paralysis and you could try a ranged weapon.
He is -20% poison resistant +40% magic resistant fortify magic +30% Spell casts resistance 10% Mage curse 10% Cure wounds 20% Lightning bolt 40% Harm undead 20% I don't see where he's either paralysis or disease resistant so try to maximize those weaknesses, cast stone skin on yourself and drink some fortify melee potions and do whatever you can to enchant your own magic resistance.
Beef up your magic resistance. Increase your melee and endurance. Try infect disease also. Fortify your own magic if necessary by drinking fortify magic potions and fortify melee potions. Do whatever it takes. I know you can beat him, edicus!!! And don't forget arrows. Also monsters are weaker at night. : ) You're my hero.
You're at a place where you can go back into the Pit of Hell to heal and then pop out again at him btw. He's level 14.
That's strange. I only encountered mage council leader in the other dimesion. When I left the dark castle he was there and sent his orcs at me. I beated all the orcs then went to another dimension and he was there. Key of the dragon unlocks a door in another dimension. You'll find some useful items in that room.
I need help on find the balbus idol quest in ice & fire. It's supposed to be near the temple in sunken cemetary. I talked to the priest in the temple and he gave me the eye medallion but I can't find the idol. Also if I do quests for the governor will my fame decrease? Because I did the quest for his daughter and my fame decreased. He looks like a bad man so I'm not sure should I help him in paralysing his wifes lover.
I'm in the wastland and beat the orcs and ran around the mage leader to get to the area with the dragons and undeads. When I came out the leader is still there and nothing I do hurts him. I cast spells, melee, potions, sword...no damage to him at all! Ok...I ran past him to the house and now complete the main quest. Which expansion would you suggest first? Thanks!
The idol is tucked in a clump of red grass in the northeastern part of the Sunken Cemetery. If you do the Dolf quest your fame will decrease--if you do his other quest it won't.
In my opinion, if you're developing your save file, you should do Ice and Fire first to make you strong enough to do HOLI unless you are suicidal. : ) If you want to play the standalone HOLI, it doesn't matter, as you will have a preset character to start with.
You know you can set the Leader of the Mage Council (a/k/a Mysterious Man) in the Other Dimension aggressive and kill him. It depends on your answers to his questions. If you answer a certain way, he will not become aggressive.
Well I killed him and it was easy. Thank you for the advice Cat. I haven't played quest for about a week and now I'm hooked up again. I'm almost over with quests on eldfell, moving to thule soon.
Ok I can't find the stupid idol. I tapped on every red plant in the WHOLE sunken cemetary. I even tried walking over the red plants and nothing. On the quest list from thequesthints.de it says that it's in the fallen cemetary so I went down there and did the same thing but I just can't find it.
Don't tap, tread. Stomp on all those plants with your feet---walk on them. The idol is in upper northeast of Fallen Cemetery on clump of grass--walk on it--walk on them once more. Or maybe you have it?
Sorry, I got the 2 confused--the idol and fertility plant are not far from each other in the Fallen Cemetary.
