Hi all. First post here. I was browsing the forum for a day or so and couldn't find a thread where these types of games were discussed. Please forgive me if I overlooked it. I was wondering if anyone knew of any pixel like games available for IOS devices? The games that look like Game Dev Story, Tiny Tower, Fix Pix by eBoy, Time Geeks, and the like? After buying and playing Kairosoft's games, and Tiny Tower recently, I fell in love with the looks of the games as well as the game style (strategy and simulation). I did see some recommendations on the home page (tower defense, super worm, etc), but I was looking for more of simulation and strategy games. Anyone have any recommendations?

"The 8-bit style of the game is very well executed and will remind players of classic arcade games." - 148 Apps Tap or tilt to move the firefighters one position to the left or right. Three positions, a building on fire and babies to bounce to safety. GenXers who lost their arcade innocence on Atari and early Nintendo will love the retro look and feel. Distinct bounce patterns for each baby add to the fun twitch gameplay. "A Game & Watch update which looks, sounds & plays like a dream!" - The Games Shed Arcade Mode gives you med-kits and moneybags to help you along and bowling balls to avoid. Plus, a special ending for completing all 15 levels! I'm sure someone mentioned Tower of Fortune, right? That game probably has the most distinguishable individual pixels of all the pixel-art games. Also, Hogletz. And yes, I know sprites are comprised of pixels, but so is everything digital. Speaking of all the pixel art games; while the graphics can be charming, I'de like to see some beautiful sprite artwork. I'm guessing it might be a tad bit more expensive to create the next Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (best ever sprite-work IMO, along with some 2d fighters, e.g. Guilty Gear series) than it is to hire artists who specialise in pixel-work. coffee.games New Member Sep 17, 2012 4 0 0 http://www.facebook.com/ZombieHurdles #18 coffee.games, Sep 17, 2012 Last edited: Sep 17, 2012 New here!
