I just can't see the appeal of random grind and, dear lord, smashing all those vases, ugh. Jibba Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2009 2,886 0 0 #11 Jibba, Jun 14, 2014 Good game. Not everything has to be super deep and complicated. It reminds me of old Nintendo games. Topherunhinged Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2014 422 0 0 #12 Topherunhinged, Jun 14, 2014 I think there's an in-between in there somewhere... and this should only remind someone of an old Nintendo game if they've never played a Nintendo game and have no concept of core design. The only NES title with this much repetative grind at it's core is Simons Quest; too bad this doesn't even share one of that titles, very few, good elements. MasonHurst Well-Known Member Jan 9, 2013 429 0 0 #13 MasonHurst, Jun 15, 2014 I agree if this had non-linear item upgrades it would be a heck of a lot better. Would add a lot more interest to the title. Still, it seems to have pretty tight control and fun mechanics. I never found myself swearing at the controls... when I died - it was all on me Pretty fun little game indeed... Kapamilya2 Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2014 118 0 0 #14 Kapamilya2, Jun 15, 2014 I, too, am enjoying the game very much. Now, I feel a little guilty I got this for free. Jibba Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2009 2,886 0 0 #15 Jibba, Jun 15, 2014 I completely disagree. I grew up on Nintendo and this definitely has that feel. Haven't had to spend any time grinding in this yet. Maybe you need more practice.
