Interface: pretty good, very easy to get the hang of things. 2. Story: none. Just missons and battles. A shame, but really, who watches Pacific Rim for the plot? 3. Graphics: quite nice. The Jeagers and Kaijus look great, but the backgrounds are kinda lame. 4. Music: probably the best part of the game. Give an intense and urgent feel. 5. Gameplay: about the same as Infinity Blade, minus combos, which makes my turn of the fight a bit boring. It's just left, right, left, right all the time. Different weapons do not make any significant difference. The experience is worse due to how slow the Jeagers move and touch response being laggy sometimes. Also, there is a regularly seen bug which makes you unable to attack in anyway and the Kaiju also stays idle, happens when activating Special Attack. The devs did get one thing right: parrying. You know parrying in IB, you'll do fine in Pacific Rim. 6. Freemium?: yes, with ads popping up a few times. All Jeagers and weapons are locked, and you must unlock them in order. There is no coin doubler, just coin packs. If you intend to grind, you might have to stick to upgrading Coyote Tango for a while, since even Gypsy Danger is a little pricey. 7. Personal opinion: good thing I try this for free. It's definitely designed to be freemium, and not that good of a game. You can download it, have fun kicking some Kaiju guts in a few hours, and be over with it once it gets grindy. Or better yet, use that tine to rewatch the movie. It has ads (not the annoying type, phew), and all Jeagers and weapons are locked with really high prices. Coyote Tango, your starter Jeager, is rather low tier. You can still fight and grind if you know Kaijus' attack patterns and how the combat system works, but it'll get tedious as you don't really have any side quests like gem forging in IB or puzzle solving like in Horn. Oh and I have encountered a bug that prevent me from changing Jeagers AND weapons. Stuck with my Coyote Tango loadout FOREVAH!!!!! Good thing a new IB is likely to be released soon.
