Definate copy of Mario kart

 

This is a skinned copy of Mario Kart. All the stages are very similar to Mario Kart. Also the power-ups are so similar. Hope this will be approved and I'll buy it ASAP because I am sure it will be pulled ASAP too. Lol

I'll be getting this asap before its pulled, hope its playable as i've seen a few dodgy ones in the past (Remember all those Contra clones/Metal Slug ?) which were dire.

I feel bad for true chinese game developers. So much of their national output is made of this kind of scummy release, either polished or quickly assembled shameless clones, that from much of the popular point of view, their reputation is badly tainted before a new product is even out.

I'm not saying others, say americans, koreans or europeans for example, aren't capable of this sort of cruft, but it's hard to ignore the fact that so much of it comes from one nation.

 

Well Nintendo is never going to release anything on iOS, so I don't mind at all how much of a rip off this is. If it plays like Mario Kart, then it should be pretty good and I will scoop it up before it gets pulled. That is if it gets through the approval process.

 

Let's wait to try it first! The video looks good, hope it plays well

 

I highly doubt it'll play like Mario Kart. If the devs had the ability to do that, they probably wouldn't be stealing assets from another game.

Every kart racer these days are always apparently "mario rip offs". Like come on, Nintendo didn't invent fracking kart racing.

EDIT: Watched the trailer... Looks VERY similar to mario kart (maps wise) lol

 

The maps are almost exactly the same... many of the maps look ripped from mario kart wii and ds but with a new texture.... instabuy

 

There are a lot of Nintendo games I don't care for that I will admit are actually well crafted games that just don't suit me, MK Wii is one massive exception. I can understand why someone would want to make a kart racer in the vein of MK but why copy the game that has the worst track design and balance issues in the series? As long as there's no voice acting and no more then two items that effect every racer on the track this could actually wind up being better then MK Wii by a wide margin, that game flat out sucked.
