http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Various/Top+10+iPhone+charts/feature.asp?c=26309 Dead Space (EA) StarFront: Collision (Gameloft) Anomaly: Warzone Earth (11 bit studios) Scarlet and the Spark of Life, Episode 2 (Launching Pad Games) Chaos Rings 2 (SE) Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery (Capybara Games) Xenome, Ep.2 (Nine Pound Studios) Final Fantasy Tactics (SE) The Shadow Sun (Ossian) Jet Car Stunts 2 (True Axis) Pretty good list IMO, I'd probably swap in Bug Heroes from Foursaken Media for Scarlet and the Spark of Life. So do you agree?
Agreed with your swap, also remove StarFront (I seriously don't care about Gameloft crap at all), otherwise fine list. EDIT: Or maybe just swap StarFront with Pocket RPG and Anomaly with Ultra Kid.
Oh yeah, I don't care about Gameloft's games that much, especially StarFront as I hate RTSes. I'd swap that with Ultra Kid but keep in Anomaly, it looks very promising and fun.
something missing Something is missing I feel there should be more indie games in there beside what big companies make. Bug hero's should be in there and I wish they would have made it a 25 most anticipated games. 10 is way too short , I am sure everyone agrees on that.
I thought Nine pound studios didn't exist anymore, because Xenome Ep. one didn't get enough sales? (So an Episode 2 would be impossible if what I've heard was right.)
So pocketgamer is looking forward to unannounced sequels that may never exist? Because there is no Chaos Rings 2 or Xenome 2. And Bug Heroes should have been on that list.
Their site exists, has projects there (no EP 2 tough), and is quite recent as it says "© 2011 NINE POUND STUDIOS" down there.
SE basically confirmed Chaos Rings 2 on FB. Look at the comments on the Necromachina post. "SQUARE ENIX DLG @Omar: Yes! In some interviews, Takehiro Ando said that he's making the next Chaos Rings. Happy New Year!"
What, no Shadow Era?? Go to the upcoming iphone games forum here on TA and sort by page views, it is clearly one of the most anticipated games of 2011. So THERE! Obviously I have to promote it more, as most people are waiting for a good TCG on iphone...
