It's become one of my favorite games of all time over the last 6 months. =o **i guess I should also say that I didn't warm up to it at first. Even after playing Crashlands and warming up to the survival genre, this took a while to click with me. Also, after 4 months of consistent playing, I feel like I've only scratched the surface. It's DEEEEEEEEEEP. So many different ways you can do things, so many different ways to play and enjoy the game.... It's mind blowing... So if you're not willing to put time into the game to learn it, it might not be worth your buck (But after playing it, I would have felt just fine dropping $15 on it). OrangutanKungfu Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2015 1,011 0 0 Media UK #7 OrangutanKungfu, Jun 22, 2016 I loved Crashlands - almost certainly my game of the year for 2016. Despite that, I've no real desire to get into the crafting thing, and have never really been tempted by Don't Starve. Still, at this price, feels silly not to give it a chance. Into the backlog folder it goes... syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #8 syntheticvoid, Jun 22, 2016 Yeah, the crafting isn't for everyone... I'd definitely recommend watching some YouTube vids if you're curious though... just to get a better idea of what it's all about. If it is something you wind up checking out - it may very well wind up on your favorite games list. =oP The people that like it generally... REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLY like it... =oD drach Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2009 515 0 16 #9 drach, Jun 24, 2016 All right I just bought this. Now what did I buy? -Kiki- Member Jul 25, 2015 20 0 0 #10 -Kiki-, Jun 24, 2016 I absolutely adore Crashlands and chose to buy it over this when it initally came out. I've been eyeing this for a while now, I wasn't sure if it was my cup of tea so I held off for a while. Thanks to the sale though I've picked it up! I love crafting games. <3 Thanks for letting me know about the sale! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
