Hello, We are about to complete a new and exciting game Koala Dartz, details here: http://www.starbyt.com/koala.html [hqyoutube]6lBhLrG4Ldw[/hqyoutube] The game will be released in a week or two when completed and fully tested. Meanwhile I'd like to invite 50 beta testers to provide a feedback and, hopefully, to help us improve the gameplay. For those accepted, I'll setup a forum where you can discuss the game. To enroll, send me an email to [email protected] with the following details: You name or nickname, country of residence and iPhone/iPod touch UID (http://getsatisfaction.com/socialbomb/topics/discovering_your_iphone_uuid_for_beta_testing) Make sure that the UID is 40 character long and given correctly, otherwise you'll not be able to install the game. We will reply back to 50 people at most, take it with understanding if not accepted. -Alex
Darn, on my iPotch right now. I don't think I will be able to make it in time. Good luck to the rest of you though.
OK - do people just decide to beta test any game given the slightest opportunity? The game looks ok but they will put it out in a week or 2....and they need beta testers now...odd. I am still beta testing QUAKE LIVE and I was helping out with MYTHOS now that took months....dont jump into beta testing becuase you want a free game...do it because you want to help the game be the best it can. no PM will be sent as I dont think I would put the effort into making a difference ... think of beta testing as a job where you dont get paid --- it can suck and you kind of rip off the dev team if you dont take it seriosly.
I have am a BETA tester for Ezone which hasn't release an update because it is in beta and an non disclosed game which I have suggested a lot. I don't want to get free games but I want the DEV to succeed and I want the iPhone/iPod Touch platform to succeed. All of us here want that. (well most of us anyways).
Good point! I watched the gameplay vid and thought I would actually put the time into it. It looks different and addicting to me from the video. For everyone though...if you beta test...actually give feedback. I have been on a few betas now, and it seems that only half of the people (usually less) actually give constructive feedback.
