Just a few... Well, let's see... There's Pokemon, and then there's Pokemon, and lastly, we need Pokemon. Sorry, but Nintendo is a complete fail for not making a new Pokemon game built just for the iPhone and iPad. It's bloody perfectly suited to a touchscreen device! Would be beyond EPIC if Nintendo would finally swallow their pride and give us Pokemon. Heck, I'd pay $15.00 for a Pokemon app on my iPod... Aside from that, I could go for: Rollercoaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Yes!), A good RTS game from PC (heck, I really don't care which one), perhaps a Diablo, and... EDIT: I forgot to add all my N64 games that deserve a proper iOS port. Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Battle Tanx: Global Assault, more that I can't think of right now. Me thinks any N64 game could actually be ported to iOS pretty easy, since graphics and technology have advanced so far since then.
No, just no. Pokemon should never, ever be on iOS. Clones of it, sure, i would love to play them, but not the actual Pokemon. It would feel so horribly wrong.
Well, I respect your opinion. But I personally think Pokemon would fit perfectly on the iOS platform. The only thing that feels horribly wrong to me are the super cheesy IAP-ridden clones... Though if a good clone was made with the same level of polish as a real Pokemon game, I might bite.
NINJA GAIDEN. I would kill for ninja gaiden 2 for the Xbox to make its way to the ios platform. Or for that case any other ninja gaiden game.
Ahh man, I had no idea that anyone else on the Internet liked Captain Claw! I could see that working so well on iPhone/pad. Anyway... I'd like to see a basic shooter where you have an open battle ground and you're free to just run around and kill. Not keen on MC as much as the path is all laid out for you which is boring and predictable. Something like Battlefield 1942 where you just run around and capture bases. It would be perfect for iOS as you need something cool, but not too deep, and it is well within small indie budgets. TriggerFist is pretty fun, but still lacks the awesome replay-ability.
I don't see why 99% of the said games should ever be on iOS ESPECIALLY POKEMON I've always wanted a competent football game designed with iOS in mind, not trying to port madden. And other stuff that doesn't come to mind immediately
I hope to see on iOS... (and play someday) Final Fantasy VII & VIII Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Tomb Raider 1,2,3,4,5 Rayman 1,3 Resident Evil 1,2,3 Silent Hill 1,2,3,4 The REAL Metal Gear Solid... And i know it's impossible but... Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3, CTR, Crash Bash Spyro 1,2,3 Medievil Age of Empires 1,2,3 ...
World of Xeen was very good but i personaly liked Might and Magic 6 The Mandate of Heaven more. I beleve that the series is owned by Ubisoft so there is a small chance that we might see an ios port
