    Hi,

I'm going to implement online highscores in Deep soon. I'm trying to decide whether to go for Scoreloop, Open Feint or Agon. So I thought I'd let you guys help me decide. I'd like to hear your opinions.

    Thanks!

I get games because they have openfeint in them. I voted for OpenFeint :)

I like Agon the best but I would get OpenFeint because of chat and obviously more people like it so, yeah. But Agon is awesome too.

Out of those... Open Feint, but Plus+ is my new favourite.

I'd go with Plus+ as well, seems to be the choice of most of the new games.

I don't think Plus+ is an option because as far as I know, there is no support for the Unity engine, which I use.

I like openfeint, the sdk is fairly straightforward to implement, they give you the source files, not precompiled libraries so if something doesn't work the way you want you can change it and they will often help you change it, they have great support, and there are a ton of openfeint users.

    Hey guys,

I'm from Scoreloop. Scoreloop supports unity, has player challenges with push notifications, achievements, virtual currency, Facebook integrations and friending etc. Do check us out if you're still considering options :) www.scoreloop.com

    Cheers,
    Junde

Plus+ is the best for users, but it is apparently harder to implement than the others. It does support Unity though - Skee-Ball and Scarecrow are great examples.

If you're not willing to jump through the hoops necessary to use Plus+, then just go with Open Feint. There is no reason to sign up for an also-ran gaming network this late in the game.

I think it's not that it's harder to implement, but that it's harder to get. In order to have Plus+ in your game, you have to send a resume-esque thing to them and they'll decide if your game is "worthy" for Plus+.

Openfeint, otherwise Agon. Stay away from scoreloop IMO

I like Agon the best. It loads faster and is simple and does it's job better I think. Also, you don't have to load scores 10 at a time. You can scroll through a bunch at a time.

I'd say OpenFeint, It's Free, You can download the Source, Tech support on it is excellent, The users love it, There's no jumping through hoops like with Plus+ or Scoreloop.

    I still prefer OpenFeint.

Agon would be my second choice.

Please don't use Scoreloop - it just creeps me out. (Really! Have you seen the avatars?)

    AGON is my fave.
From a user perspective, I just like the interface and features.
OF has a big player base though, which could affect sales. I hate navigating in there though.

    arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

why the fudge people are choosing OF over anything bewilders me to the extreme!

openfeint sucks balls, surely it cannot have escaped everyones attention that it ruins nice looking icons, pops up in game, right in your face and adds a significant load time on my 3G with anything that uses it. i hate it very very much. as for the stability issue, when the quest decided to intergrate it the entire update went to pot. its terrible.

AGON wins by a country mile, loads fast .. never in your face. in short, AGON does everything OF can do and do it faster. OF, there isnt a case for it and why people insist its better i will never know.
