Real racing have a big problem that does have licensed car. Gt racing have over 100 model AND THIS IS SO COOL.
The pop-in of buildings in GT is a joke. Makes it unplayable for me. Ill stick with RR (and, for short racing minutes, Fastlane).
gt racing is better than real racing and eviro bear is a ****ing joke wat do ya see in that crappy game
know that i have never played gt racing before, but after seeing the gameplay video I have to go with RR. The draw distance in GT is just 2 crappy, and if i was allowed to reccomend a game that I think is better than the two, I saw NFS Shift.
GT Racing is pretty good, but I think this will depend on the device you have. While RR may not have the licensed vehicles, it runs smoothly on an iPod Touch 2g. I've noticed that there is a bit of lag both in draw distance and occasionally during the actual steering/driving, and this may be device specific.
Big Albie, thank you. Have you played it on a 1st gen device? I have a 1st gen ipod and we are entering a phase where new game are potentially just not suitable for those. (Which is of course an outrage because it is US, early adaptors of this new platform, who have made idevice gaming what it is today. Do we get a thank you? A device-sensitive back-scaling version of the game? A free new device? R.I.P.) Jerson420 there must be some 40 hours of posts worth reading that will explain why enviro-bear is the be-all and end-all of racing games. It is to racing games what Amy gets a tan is to lotion-applying games.
Minus the draw distance (which you get used to after some play) GT Racing offers a lot more content and customization which I really enjoy. The lack of being able to personalize my car in RR really hurt for me. Depth was also a factor which goes to GT Racing but they are both great games. GT Racing just continued on with what all the other racing sims didnt do...
