The "R" in "RC" is actually radio, though remote makes sense. ;P

I used to race RC cars but left them all behind when I moved country. Didn't pick it up again here as there are no tracks nearby, however there is plenty of sky so I fly/build RC helicopters and planes now.

Is this your only car? Any nitro/gassers?

Yeah only build hence the no budget mindset. I got out of nitro. Too dirty, maintence, annoyed neighbors, and I love the instant torque of brushless.

No rc cars here, but my dog would probably destroy it in a frenzy, wish i had one though. I rather race real cars:D

Alloy shock caps installed and the mamba motor. Got some more anodized blue bling on the way along with a better esc to power this beast.

A very nice product.I really like it.This is a nicely designed and would seem a better fit for a toy store and a market directed at kids. Great gift for the amateur kid interested in rc toys with cool features. While this looks fun, you wouldn't want to spend that much money on it.

I'll tack on a post although it rose because of a spammer and will fall back into the abyss shortly (if not locked/deleted outright).
Anyway I've decided a few days ago to purchase the Team Associated RC8.2e RS (electric/brushless) in just a couple weeks (still snowing here). My last car was a RC10B4 I assembled from a kit but this one is going to be an rtr.

Btw, this hobby is geared for all ages and extremely fun. Lots of these cars are for 14+ yrs and up. The investment isn't cheap as its $500 for the car (that's just an rtr) and then include another $180 LiPo battery and $200 for a charger. But this shows its not some cheap toy but a serious and upgradeable racing car.

Yea I know, its an ios forum but I'm a little excited to be getting a TA car (hey see, its relative to this forum...in a way:D) shortly and couldn't resist a post.:)
