Being able to play offline hooks me to play this!! Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #4 Exact-Psience, Mar 22, 2015 Woah! Are there consumable IAPs? Coz if there's none, this is instabuy! I've been meaning to buy a monster trainer game, but most have been really affected by IAPs, especially since there is usually some form of PVP involved. chaos_envoys Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2011 1,330 0 36 Medical Doctor Pokke Village, Indonesia #5 chaos_envoys, Mar 22, 2015 The consumable iap are crystal, that used to buy "masterball" and "rare candy" i think.. The other balls or "bait" are buyable using in game money.. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #6 touchy85, Mar 22, 2015 Game Impressions Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel SocialTitans Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2013 96 0 0 #7 SocialTitans, Mar 22, 2015 Thanks for all the kind comments! We put everything we could into this one and we're pretty proud of it. The iaps in the game are basically cheating items like 'rare candies' and 100% success baits... you can also instantly heal your monsters with iap but don't be put off by rest times they're not intended to be a play blocker rather make the player use the utility moves (moves that heal all your team in battle etc) and potions while out and about. We're really excited to hear any comments about our game so that we can fine tune it. Really interested into what people think of the story.. compared to the other major games in this genre it gets pretty dark. We're going to be launching PvP just around the corner. It'll be proper PvP. No async stuff going on. You will be able to join a lobby create games (optional password protected games to play with friends) ranked options, matchmaking by level and leaderboards etc. Jxsgamer Well-Known Member Dec 28, 2011 672 0 16 USA #8 Jxsgamer, Mar 22, 2015 I remembered playing the first one and ultimately found it tiring to play due to its heavily grinding. But I guess I'll give this one a go, no point passing up an offline Catch-em all game. Hope this one is worth the time. I wonder if there's a joystick. :/ SocialTitans Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2013 96 0 0 #9 SocialTitans, Mar 22, 2015 There is a joystick and the progression in the game is so much nicer. There are Guilds in the towns which are intended to be a challenge for late game content (we're making that a little clearer in patch one) so don't be put off if you go into one and try and battle the strongest member and find the battle ridiculous - just come back later if you want to. I like it. But sometimes it is buggy. It's funny cause I can walk on the lakes and all the stuff you not supposed to go through, well I can If there is something I really don't like: the fact you click on the ranch, to check your monsters health, it automatically takes you to the latest ranch you went through. And well I find it pretty annoying. Apart from this I like the game a lot! Maybe the money is a bit low. I remember in Pokemon, at the beginning you could already win $100-$200 for every fight you would win. And a Pokeball (Bait in this game) would only cost $100. And in this game, a bait costs $50 (at least) and you only win $30 per fight won at the beginning of the game. Plus I don't remember well, but the rate of catching a Monster with a weak bait, well it doesn't seem that high (even when the Monster has 1 HP left)... Or it may be me. And another problem. At the beginning of the game I caught a Venox (idr the name exactly) and this Mpnster doesn't show in the MonsterPedia (idr the name either... Sorry ^^') is it normal or ?
