    • So, what other fighting games do want to see on the Appstore?

      KOF, SF, Blade of Fury have proven that fighting games can control well to the point of being fun on the iPhone, and while that might not be the case with MK, they all are pretty popular.

      Fighting games that I think will control well that I'd like to see are:

      Soul Calibur
      Last Blade
      Tekken
      Samurai Shodown
      Mortal Kombat 9
      Capcom SNK 2
      Some Smash Bros ripoff

      +1 to that! Completely agree with something like Smash bros. Maybe Sega can make it like their Kart game with a good pool of characters. Doubt it would ever happen, but it would be dope! :cool:

      tekken and soul calibur would be cool too. And maybe a higher quality mortal kombat...

      The problem I have with UMK3 is that they made (probably) the best 2D Mortal Kombat look a lot like the worst MK (Mortal Kombat 4)... they should just release MK2 and 3 with the original sprites.

      What, no love for clayfighter :p? I'd like to see a M.U.G.E.N. port, Art of Fighting, pocket fighter, primal rage, a Power stone rip-off and Marvel Vs. Capcom (wait, didn't Capcom promise an iPhone port of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3???)

      Wow, I'm surprised no one's thought of that yet. Then again, those jobs a done by a dev or two and take months to complete.

      I wouldn't mind seeing World Heroes and Samurai Showdown not sure if this counts but I'd like to see a real arcade port of the Double Dragons as well.

      Despite not being that keen on SFIV I'd still buy the earlier 2D Street Fighters if they were ported to the same standard as KOF control wise.

      Marvel vs Capcom 2
      Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
      Battle Arena Toshinden (Nobody ever remembers this series)
      Zero Divide (early PS1 game overlooked by nearly everyone)
      Fighters Megamix
      Sonic the Fighters

      Some of those arguably suck but the thread doesn't specify that they have to be good!

      Destrega - an old psx game like dragon ball z with ranged attacks, close range attacks and large arenas.

      Evil zone(psx).
      Tekken series (psx-ps3).
      Bio freaks(psx).
      Bloody roar series(psx-ps2).
      Ehrgeiz(psx) - we need more fighting rpgs (tekken 6 does ok at it).

      Hell yes! Ehrgeiz is totally underrated, a port of the original arcade game or the playstation version would be a welcome addition to the iOS library.

      They should bring Samurai Shodown to the iOS.
      I've been a big fan of this game from many years ago

      Dragonball series , tekken series , and final fight ! Hope there will be universal or HD version for those fighting genre. Looooks better on bigger screen
