I did find IAP called Band of Monster points going up to about $25 but I don't know what they're for or if you will need them to make the game easier. I don't know if these IAP were there before either. Maybe the price drop is because of these IAP. scrotally Well-Known Member Apr 21, 2013 305 0 0 #12 scrotally, Jul 22, 2014 My bad. The original price does seem to be 3.99 though. Not sure where everyone is getting 7.99 from. You're right though... According to appshopper, Band of Monsters never got up to the $7.99 price tier. http://appshopper.com/games/rpg-band-of-monsters syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #14 syntheticvoid, Jul 22, 2014 When it was launched it said that it was going to go up to $7.99 in the description - 'Launch sale - $7.99 > $3.99' or something along those lines. Though, I don't know why they didn't raise the price. Maybe sales were bad enough at the $4 mark, they didn't think they could sell any at $8... I dunno. smegly Well-Known Member Mar 27, 2012 990 0 0 NY, NY #15 smegly, Jul 22, 2014 Last edited: Jul 22, 2014 I rather wonder what Kemco considers to be a good number of sales. Based on Gamecenter, 1332 people bought Infinite Dunamis. Even if they all got it at 7.99, which is unlikely and I'm not sure that game ever was that price beyond the description of a sale, I think that's about 7000 dollars after the Appstore gets its cut and 2600 if they got it at 2.99. I'm pretty sure ID was 0.99 when I bought it. Maybe they do better in other regions or on Android. More on topic, I suspect they just put that in the description preemptively to get people to buy it and if the game does well enough they eventually use that actual price. Hence why Alphadia Genesis is 9.99 and Symphony of the Origin 8.99. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #16 syntheticvoid, Jul 22, 2014 Well, since they're a publisher, I don't think they get too much off each sale. They've also got a team of people to pay, alongside the developers paying their team. Also - GC numbers include people who got a cracked version of the game as well as those who paid for it/got it 'legally'. smegly Well-Known Member Mar 27, 2012 990 0 0 NY, NY #17 smegly, Jul 22, 2014 That's all kind of my point. actionrpg8000 Well-Known Member Sep 17, 2012 195 0 16 #18 actionrpg8000, Jul 22, 2014 Is this the one that had an automatic battling system? WildBastion Active Member Aug 18, 2013 40 0 6 #19 WildBastion, Jul 23, 2014 Arena is full-auto battle, normal battle mode you can change command during battle between 3 different slots but the monsters fight on their own. I only just started. Btw, this is, imo, the best kemco game ive played. Hands down. Smooth scrolling, quick but not too quick battles, decent story (so far), Things to do and really nice pixel art too. Oh! and monsters are all actually animated and not just a few sprites! Ive played like 4-5 other kemco published rpgs and this is easily my fave. (barring some sort of stupid change in the future) runs smooth on 3gs too <3 Oh and usually the newer kemco games just have minor iap to unlock cheats or similar things, and even some of those are unlockable in game with some grinding. Havent checked how this one does it yet. JARVIS42 Well-Known Member Apr 29, 2014 189 0 16 #20 JARVIS42, Jul 23, 2014 Nice freebie. Thanks for the heads up! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
