I'm a little grumpy that I won't be playing it on my iPhone 6+ (which has a nicer screen than my PS Vita any day). But at $4.99, I'll double-dip and buy this one for iPad even though I have (and love) it already on Vita. Here's to hoping it goes Universal at some point...

If it wasn't a full edition, why include dlc? Seems like a full version for mobile, though they would have been better off with calling it don't starve touch or something, especially cus it's ipad only.
I don't know the differences. Just pointing out that "pocket" is being taken pretty literally, when I'm fairly confident the devs are just indicating that it's not exactly the same as the PC.
In their page they say iOS 8, not iOS 7. Who told you iOS 7 and up? I hope you're right and their page is wrong, but I don't have high hopes on it...
On Cydia, an app named IPA Installer. Legal obtain the IPA, and open it/ k stall using the App. Then use ForceGoodFit to display the game in a 16:9 ratio as opposed to a 4:3. I used this for Legend of grim rock & on a six it worked perfectly. There is also a way to do this without a jailbreak, I can't get into exact details, but by extracting the IPA as a zip file on a PC or Mac, you can modify the set parameters to allow installation on an iPhone. Very cool stuff as I'm super hyped to play Don't Starve on my iPhone 6! Fingers crossed for full MFi support! Sweet! Thanks! These are the reasons why Im always jailbroken, not to steal from developers but for useful stuff like this which will earn the developer my $4.99 for their game So I just have to force install the ipa and then use forcegoodfit on it? That simple?
On your PC, download the IPA file, transfer that IPA file to your iPhone's file system. Then within the IPAINSTALLER App, locate the IPA file & install. Simple as that! A very useful tool though I found Papers, Please too be a near impossibility due to the outlandish amount of reading needed lol
Yeah some apps seem to be hard to use and/or unplayable, which is understandable so Im not complaining! I just tried Democracy 3 and upon startup it seems fine and perfectly scaled but when you get to the menu you see that not everything is up to scale and when I tried to play I just got half of the menu I guess because I saw white and no option lol Here I am hoping that Don't Starve works well! EDIT: Actually it wasnt even showing the whole menu just the middle portion of it, shame...
