Actually, this discussion does belong here. the iPhone and ipod Touch Games section is for individual game releass. This section is for discussions, like which FPS is best. Having said that, the top 5 FPS's are: 1. Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus 2. NOVA 2 3. NOVA 4. Moden Combat: Sandstorm 5. Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front
I pretty much agree with this (swap NOVA and Modern Combat: Sandstorm around). Gameloft makes the best FPS games IMO.
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies Rainbow Six Archetype These three are also pretty fun. I'd put them ahead of some of the ones mentioned in the above list.
Seriously? Those games are pretty much unanimous choices by now Anyway, I'll throw in some less well known/underhyped FPS: (in on specific order) RAGE HD!!! My favorite on-rails FPS ever, graphic, control and gameplay wise. Gun Range: for gun fanatics/lovers? Too bad an apple sound bug kills the gun sfx after a few shots. Dead Raid: most underhyped survival zombie FPS. Read my review somewhere for details.
if you like survival FPS too,then COD Zombies and Puppet war are the best choices on the i-device. If you have no problem with a rail shooters, then RAGE and DOOM resurrection are great looking games
1. Mc2: sandstorm 2. Cod: zombies 3. Nova 2 4. Archetype 5. Puppet wars 6. Toon wars 7. Doom series 8. Wolfenstein series 9. Duke nuke 'em There are others, but these stand out from the crowd.
In order: Modern Combat 2 Nova2 Archetype (enjoyed it while it lasted) Nova RAGE (imo, this one was underrated here) COD: Zombies Battlefield (just got an update that increases the limit of players in an online game to 10 ) Modern Combat (wasn't too impressed here, but that's probably because I'd already played the superior Nova)
Oldschool: Wolfenstein 3d Platinum Rise of the Triad Doom Classic Doomsday 1 Doomsday 2 HacX Classic Duke Nukem 3d Modern: Any FPS by Gameloft (some are better than others) The Infinity Project Battlefield 2
ranked IMO including some TPS's cause they're awesome too. I don't own COD zombies but I've played it and thought it kinda meh. IMO about same as bfbc2 MC2 Dead Space NOVA2 Rainbow6 NOVA1 BIA2 MC1 battlefield puppet wars infinity project archetype eliminate bastards wolfenstein
Forgot about RAGE. Definitely another great game. I wasn't a fan of IP. I thought it was terrible. Just my opinion though.
I quite like the rainbow six game as well but I'd put Modern Combat 2 and Nova 2 as a must buy both for FPS fans I rank them about equal.
Hated it as well. It came out the same time as the first Nova, and it really didn't compare in my opinion.
