I don't understand why it's not in the app store hall of fame, the games starter get, the benchmark games, or the big name games. In fact it's not on any list that honors great games... One of the best TBS on GLWG and even though it gets really challenging, it's still easy to start with if you're new to the genre. Apple were cool enough to feature the game when it launched, but since then it's been a constant (losing) battle to get anyone to take it seriously on iOS. Android have featured it four times now, which I believe is a record, and the droid press are all over it. However in this neck of the woods where the game started, you'd think it was never released. I'm not bitter though, lots of good games never break the surface and we'll soon have a second bite with the sequel. Fingers crossed... spidey Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2010 964 2 0 India #11 spidey, Mar 4, 2012 I hope you have done really well upto now. Even with the age of GLWG, it still is one of the best TBS games out there. Highly recommended. Especially if you have an iPad. Don't know if it is optimized for iPad 2, but the game looks absolutely fabulous on it. It's had it's moments last year though, we've not always been off the bottom. The game is optimised for iPad2 - there's a number of improvements but we're most proud of the water effect. We'll be looking at doing something for iPad3 shortly too, if it's up to it. Jdragoon19 Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2010 2,854 0 0 TouchArcade Forums Area 51 #13 Jdragoon19, Mar 4, 2012 That sucks. I love GLWG! It's one of my favourite TBS games on iOS! However, it is extremely hard to keep your game selling a lot after about a few months (or a month, or even a week) after it is released. trueblue Well-Known Member Jan 24, 2012 570 0 16 Please wait 1000000 minutes uploading info.... Got an iPhone 3GS today (I could justify it to the wife since it was "free" although I'm also not happy with the whole having to have a data plan thing). Anyway, I can't go all crazy buying all of the apps at once that I couldn't play before on my 2G, but nabbed this. Anxious to give it a try! In terms of raw performance, the 3GS is a perfectly fine games machine. It can for example run our enhanced water shader as seen on iPad 2, but those devices in the middle can't - too many pixels and not enough gpu power to push em.
