This looks promising from the screenshots. I know the TopGear doesn't have a great track record with games (see what I did there?), but this is from a different dev and I love me some drifting games. If you want a great game with drifting in it get Reckless Racing 3 instead imo. redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #5 redribbon, Jan 16, 2016 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #6 NOEN, Jan 16, 2016 Last edited: Jan 16, 2016 Yea, this game does feel a lil rushed. If you play with the steering wheel, the drifts feel a lil more fluid. I do like how the front of the car lifts when you take off. The rest of the handling seems.....I dunno, I guess "rushed" again. I'm still happy with my buck I spent. It's still not that bad of a game. It just could be a lot better. I'm sure with the devs having the TopGear logo, there were time restraints. Would I recommend this? Ugh, that's a tough one. I'd say if you like games like these, it's only a buck and it's fun, but if your looking for something more in depth, I'd say pass. Reckless Racing 2 has some cool drifting modes and RR3 is fun too. There's also a decent F2P game called CarX Drifter that's pretty cool. I've only put in about 30 mins into the game. I'll keep at it. Like I said, I'm still happy with my purchase. It's not a "bad game", it just needs a lil "tune up". (See what I did there?) UPDATE: After tweaking the sensitivity on the controls, this game isn't half bad. Sure, it's still a little rough around the edges, but it's actually pretty fun. It's become one of my fav drifting games next to Drift Club Racer 2. The devs just released a pretty decent update with extra tracks and an extra car or two, so it seems like the game wasn't just released and forgotten like most TG games. These guys did a Drift Legends game a few years back that wasn't too bad, so they do have some experience. I almost with that it was a proper Drift Legends sequel, rather than the Top Gear crap, but it is what it is. It's not the most beautiful game on the AppStore, but the way the cars handle while drifting makes up for it. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
