STUNNING! These screenshots are looking awesome! And the devs know how to pull off some great 3D graphics. This could be THE original uber-platformer the iPhone is still waiting for. Love the classic face of the guy. Really nice artwork - a mix of old and new.
But, give this little guy some different face expressions... not just the angry one. He could also look happy from time to time. A little smile never hurts
DO WANT! Looks great! Are those the graphics from the game? (I guess they are, you guys are awsome at making good graphics! ) I really like the look of piture 2 and 3! from what I can see in picture 2 you're using those shaders! :
Looks lovely. These guys have great vision and the talent to realize it. (I hope RS2 is still on track though...! )
Oh my gosh! this looks fantastic, finally a good 3d platformer is coming to the iPhone (well other than rayman 2 of course).
This engine (well, this layer on top of the Unity engine) will be used for Ravensword 2.... it's all part of the master plan. We wanted to do something that would really focus us on the controls and animation code to get that all working great, then once we start RS2, we can focus on the stats elements and narrative, and have great-feeling gameplay already done.
This game looks really nice!! You guys definitely NEVER disappoint!! Now I've got two games to look forward to (this and RS2)!!
Looks fantastic. I didn't buy Ravensword because I don't care for rpg's but this game looks more my style. Can't wait for a gameplay video. I almost forgot: what's the estimated release date ? And is chillingo gonna publish this one?
Was wondering if Josh would ever come up with something new, seeing he put the bar rather high, that would equal or better Ravensword... Looks like he's about to do just that!
as you can see in some of the images there are some normal maps used, and soft realtime shadows, which are for the PC version which will be on Steampowered.com but other than that, everything is pretty much the same. If Unity 3 supports some more effects for iPhone - we'll add them.
Wow, I'll certainly be interested to see how this one turns out. As well as the other games mentioned in the original post, it kind of reminds a little of 'Jet Force Gemini' on the Nintendo64... which of course, is a good thing.
