Indeed This is what the top apps are in NZ BADLAND and XCOM sure, but Bloons? How is that one of the best apps of 2013?
Why are the iPad and iPhone games different, given that all of them are universal (except for Bloons, which does have an iPhone counterpart)? Ridiculous Fishing should be the best on both though, Badland can replace Bloons/Turbo
Oh? So the list for iPad IS different from that for iPhone. Shouldn't IB be in iPad's though, it's better with larger screen.

UK iPad is 1. Badland 2. XCOM 3. Impossible Road. Better than Bloons for sure, but still a little random :/
FINALLY A GOOD LIST. THE US HAS RIDICULOUS FISHING AS #1 AND DEVICE 6 AS #2 FOR GAMES. PVZ2 IS #3 BUT OH WELL. Woo. Finally a decent list Edit: This was for iPhone FYI, and just saw NZ had the same top 2 oh well.
So many good games this year. I wouldn't even waste my time looking at what apple considers the best. For some reason Knightmare Tower seems like the standout title of the past year. Block Fortress is in a class of its own, just as H&C was. Boson X was a surprise, but a passing fancy. Meltdown is a title that belongs in the top 10. Oceanhorn as well, I guess. Spiral definitely belongs, and Bastion just because it was a port done sooooo right. The Room, Icycle, Hill Climb Racing (yes I went there), KR Frontiers of course. Epoch 2 is a great game, and for racers NFS:MW and Asphalt 8 share a crown that includes fairly rude IAP - but nowhere near as crude as RR3. Otherwise.... Hundreds was fresh, Cardinal Quest was neo-retro (whereas Bit Dungeon was polished retro), Badlands is very cool for all sorts of reasons and Nimble Quest was 'almost' great. Scurvy Scallywags was the black horse for the year, and for fresh and in your face the brand new Starborn Anarkist is very special - make sure you don't miss it. In the "I'm ashamed I played this game so much" category we have Catch the Ark, Rock Runners, and Boom Beach - a game most of you haven't had the chance to 'enjoy' yet. That about sums it up, obviously forgetting a few...
Yup, Ridiculous Fishing for sure (finally playing it - on my Note 2), Device 6 bent the rules in all the right ways for sure. PvZ2 crosses the Freemium line from which there is no return.
I seriously don't understand the Bloons TD hate. GOTY material? No. Jam-packed with content and one of the best TD games out there? Heck yes.
I want the government to round up people who play the Bloons TD games and put them in some kind of internment camps. BLOONS TD 12 HD - Now with MORE coloured balloons.
