OK, this thread was bound to happen at some point or another. Which of the two apps is the bestest, and why? I'm thinking strictly in terms of iPhone, i.e not the iPad versions. EDIT: OK, the awful, blatant, filthy unprofessional rip-off aside, which is best? Yes your sarcasm detector may have triggered, but don't worry, it's OK.
Veggie Samurai is a complete and utter rip-off of Fruit Ninja. If i were Fruit Ninja's developers I would have at least put a Patient on the game. (If it's not already there). This could avoid dumb-asses from stealing the crowd and overall the idea.
Fruit Ninja, the only thing that makes Veggie Samurai better is the dicing feature. Veggie Samurai doesn't even have splatter effects!
Veggie Samurai. Much slower with a focus on multiple combos. You guys need to take your heads out your *** and quit getting mad they ripped off Fruit Ninja. Yeh I like FN and the dev but does mean VS sucks.
I understand what you mean but look at it this way; Fruit Ninja is currently one of the most popular games in the AppStore. So Popular that it's ranked #7 in the United States. (Out of ALL Apps). (this is partly hypothetical) Now lets say your a developer and you want to be up there with the big boys. Your other applications have failed at bringing in any money and you can't afford to promote. Veggie Samurai's Developers were probably in that kind of situation and decided to copy off someone else's success. That's not cool. It's just being greedy and shows that you have no originality and what's worse? They only changed it a bit.
Quantum Squid has had some reasonable success in the past with Starball. They seem reputable enough to make me doubt that they're doing it for a totally immoral reason.
Hands down, how many of you who thinks Veggie Samurai is an abomination because of its 'unoriginality' have bought Doodle Jump without even a second thought about how original it is? Just curious.
i love this game, and i love fruit ninja. Its ok to have 2 of the same type of game in the appstore...jesus
