Q1 2013. Ian mentioned that a few of their other titles took a little longer than anticipated, so Panzer Corps for iOS got pushed back a little bit. Disappointing, but I know Slitherine will put out a great port! --DotComCTO
Is anyone else having trouble with the demo invite system? im able to play regular multiplayer fine with several people, but im trying to persuade a friend to get the game by playing the demo, but when I tap the icon on the main page, im sent to slitherine's website and then when I log in to send the email invite, I am told I need to register my copy. Anyone else having this problem?
Can you try again, there was a potential issue with the web code that should now be fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers Pip
thanks, it seems to be working in terms of the invites now unfortunately, now there is an issue with the actual matches. both myself and my friend have opponents turn on our respective multiplayer pages so we cant start the match also, the date of the match is 1.1.1970, which is definately weird, considering the dates on my other games are correct.
Invite matches should start on the invited players turn. Or is this not what you are seeing? I will check out the date issue. Cheers Pip
Thanks for the info. The server team are looking into it, apparently some games were corrupted and they are trying to fix them. Sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers Pip
For a limited time only all Battle Academy's In App Purchases are 50% off! That's a huge amount of content for only £2.99/$4/99 This offer lasts till the 14th December so don't miss out!
Awesome, going to download Sealion, Market Garden and Blitzkrieg France later today! I know the answer will be a resounding NO! but ever thought about a holiday sale for the game itself? It's been worth every penny of the $20 for me personally but perhaps $9.99 for a limited time may snag a lot of iOS strategy gamers on the fence
When you scroll thru the scenario screens for a campaign completed missions will have a number of checked stars depending on how well you did. Unfinished missions will have no stars filled in.
If I were only going to buy one add-on campaign, which one should I get? I enjoy Battle Academy a lot but still have many of the built-in and user-created missions to work through.
I was waiting till I had finished the first 3 campaigns (still in the desert at the mo!) but I couldn't resist at this price! This is an insanely good deal! Many thanks Slitherine! Also, thanks for fixing my issue with demo invite, great customer service!
Not having played them, I would say it's a tie between Market Garden and Sealion. If I recall, Market Garden will allow you to carry over some units from mission to mission (if they survive). Sealion is a fantasy campaign based on Hitlers dream to invade England...the Battle of Britain put a halt to those plans if I remember my 20th cen military history!
I think it depends on the kinds of things you are interested in. Sealion is one of my faves because of the variety of unusual units and I think it's very pretty. Market Garden includes the carryover feature where you need to be careful with your units as you will need them in later missions. I do know it's a pretty stiff challenge, but then - so was the real thing! Cheers Pip
