What are your most wanted features to be included in Gameloft's upcoming Gang$tar? As well as all the usuals like shooting, stealing and driving, I want their to be buildings to enter, ability to change clothes, store cars in your your house's garage, and 24 hour time (rather than it being daylight all the time, there is night to keep it realistic.) What features do you want in Gang$tar?
I would also like there to be quieter, country-side parts in the game, where you can just cruise in the car and explore (like in GTA: San Andreas). But I doubt they'll be able to create such a large environment for an iPhone game. We will just have to wait and see...
Gameloft said that Gang$tar would be available on all iPhones and iPod Touches. Whether they will have a separate, more advanced and ambitious version for only the iPhone 3G remains to be seen. I hope they produce a great game for the older iPhones and iPod Touch that plays good, as well as for the iPhone 3G.
- Free roaming (obviously there already). - In-car/cockpit view (like in GTA IV), probably not going to happen though. - Vehicles other than cars such as motorcycles, boats, helicopters etc (again, probably not going to be included though). - Plenty of side missions, ranging from the normal (i.e - pizza delivery) to the completely absurd (i.e - clown, hauling illegal immigrants over the border, pornstar? - Apple would love that ) - Fishing? - Err, whores? - Struggling to think of reasonable ideas here - ...... Brain Now incabable of reasonable/realistic ideas - Warning! Brain retardation sequence shut-down imminent! I really should keep away from those shrooms, lol.
Yeh... Helicopters and motorbikes would be great, but I doubt they'll include them in the game. ... A man can dream... A man can dream.
They've already released Gang$tar on mobile phones. Not to much of a fan on those, hopefully they'll be better on the iphone/ipod touch
Yeah, I downloaded it (for free obviously ) on my old mobile phone. And, excuse my french, but the game is $hit. As expected. It really makes myself, as an iPhone user, feel very special and lucky to have such an excellent device when you play this $hit that mobile phone game devs churn out every month. I mean, it was so bad, I would rather have herpes than play another minute of that game. It wil hopefully be a completely different matter on the iPhone though. I am just amazed at how gameloft can come from making these $hitty mobile phone games to making these excellent iPhone/iPod Touch games. Maybe they are paying EA to make their games for them? Now there's a good conspiracy
I'm only hoping it will be a 3D SANDBOX game, with random gunfights, a large city, tons of fun, challenging quests that repeat. Basically everything that was in Payback but in 3D. That's only because they are free to make better games for the iPod Touch. You should never expect cell phone games to be good or great, unless you're talking about iPhone or Windows mobile.
Yep. Anyone who buys a cell phone game (other than iPhone or WM) is an idiot IMO. Gameloft would probably stick to the iPhone/iPod Touch games if they didn't make so much money from charging £5 (about $9) for a crappy 2D cell phone game to gullible induviduals (usually under the age of 15). Playing a solitare for a couple of minutes while waiting for a bus isn't so bad, but imitating console games and having the audacity to charge £5 for it is totally unreasonable.

Yay, I have an online friend almost as crazy as me! I will have to re-think my body disposal method. The body in the aquarium didn't go right and I think I may have upset a few people. I'm now thinking maybe sulphuric acid and then mashing the remains up and feeding them to my dog (which is actually a vegan, btw). Or maybe I should dispose of the body parts in those convineint body part sized bags you get on the plane, then when nobody is looking, dump it in the cargo hold?
